My God (Guest Poet)

Dispenses mind drugs

Fools – sinful – dip into.

My God is perfect

In every way, form and reflection

So my smile dips down…

I sin.

Often.

My God

Listened years ago

When, all I wanted was “the same”.

I flailed

Burnished in a mind fire

Hurt, I cried in a sour mire of

So much hurt strangling…

Breath was incontinent.

Then my God

Gave me…

A love again

Who I don’t deserve.

But here  I am

Salacious – indulgent

Flabby, but…

She let me live

Again.
