My every thought is controlled by, all
My previous thoughts and experiences, all
My dreams and fears, all
Those that I love
My every action is controlled by, all
The millions of unread books, unseen films, all
The conversations of billions of unknown people, all
Those geniuses standing on the shoulders of giants
Moths fluttering around the candle, or
Flies buzzing the window- pane, or
Fish swimming in the seas
Free: Being themselves.
My life is gripped in an iron vise,
Pre-ordained, controlled, perfectly designed,
My freedom soars from certainty
I am what I am.
