Stalin visited a small town in Siberia. Huge crowds were there to receive him, holding placards of praise for him, the Party and the Soviet Union.
In the crowd the KGB spotted a very old man holding a sign saying: “Thank you comrade Stalin, for a happy childhood!”
They approached him angrily. “What is this? Some kind of mockery? You must be at least 80 years old, comrade Stalin wasn’t even born when you were a child!”
“That’s exactly what I’m thankful for.”
