Nihilism

I decide to get out of bed
and clean my teeth.
It seems like a good idea
but I know they won’t be really clean.

I decide to go back to bed
to think, or maybe not.
It seems like a good idea
but I know that not thinking is impossible.

I decide to get out of bed
to eat some food.
It seems like a good idea
but I know there is no food in the fridge.

I decide to go back to bed
to forget that I need food.
It seems like a good idea
but I know my stomach will keep reminding me.

I decide to get out of bed
for a change of scene
It seems like a good idea
but I know I am trapped in my head.
