Haiku nature poem

Sweet nightingale sings
In the pouring rain of spring
Calling back sunshine

Gently sighed soft breeze
Parting clouds in harmony
Warmth to dry wet leaves

Tree leaves shift to Sun
Boughs tingle and drip no more
Bird you sing so well

Feathers drip no more
Bird sings her thank you to wind
Sun smiles in giving

Pond frog croaks to tree
“Ask no more of her song please”
My newts need the rain

Stream adds her support
My weeds wither without rain
Such selfish action

Basking snake say “no…
I need the warmth to hunt eggs
Nightingale sings loud
