The price of paranoia

“On Friday, we received a 911 call from Ronald Cyr'” a police spokesperson told reporters in Van Buren, Maine, “who said that he’d been shot. Officers arrived at his house, along with Van Buren Ambulance Service, and the US Border Patrol. While on scene, they discovered the front door of the residence had been outfitted with a device to fire a handgun, should anyone attempt to enter. Other devices were also discovered, alarming investigators to contact the Maine State Bomb Squad. Mr Cyr died of his injuries in hospital, and following an extensive investigation, it was determined that he had been shot as the result of the unintentional discharge of one of his own home made devices.”
